Step into your calling

An internship is a great opportunity to be involved in our community and be shaped for ministry.

We have various internship opportunities including children’s ministry, cross-cultural engagement, youth, and music. We can also structure one around you! If you are interested in growing in ministry confidence, competence, and in your character as a Christian, an internship is a good place to start.

 

What’s it like?

I am the worship intern at Victory church.

I am currently studying a Level 6 Diploma of Christian Studies in Christian Leadership at Bishopdale College and am doing my internship in partnership with BTC. As part of my internship, I attend weekly Ministry Team Hui on a Tuesday morning along with a few others, where we connect as a team, do a devotion and then check in on our different areas of ministry. I also am involved in leading worship, and choosing the songs for the service. Once a month, I teach songs to the Chin Community kids and help out at Youth Group twice a term by running worship nights. My internship lets me use my passion for music and learn how to connect the congregation to God through sung worship.
